IT Guardian is the Managed Services Division of CIS Technical Services Inc. Established in 1987 as Custom Interfacing Solutions, CIS has been providing IT consulting and network engineering services in the greater Boston area for over twenty years. Although we have experienced many major technology changes during the last few decades, we have never deviated from our primary goals and core competencies, that of being a world class service company focused entirely on our clients needs. We maintain this focus by ensuring that 100% of our income is service based, we do not sell hardware or software. In an effort to help our small business clients streamline the support of basic IT systems such as firewalls, servers etc, we launched a separate division devoted to flat rate Managed IT services in 1999. |
After nearly ten years of growth and success, we then purchased a local competitor offering similar services (IT Guardian) and in 2008 merged our managed services business with IT Guardians. IT Guardian provides small business clients with a complete IT support solution. We provide all management, maintenance and support; including offsite backup and same day replacement for key servers. All of our services are performed by our own employees, we do not outsource helpdesk, Network Operations or any other critical component of our service offerings. IT Guardian owns and manages mission critical servers in nearly 400 client sites and provides helpdesk services for thousands of end users. |
